Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organized Supply Chain Coordinator VA to support the daily operations of our clients supply chain and logistics team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to customers. The ideal candidate has experience in procurement, vendor management, and order fulfillment, and can work independently in a fast-paced virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier and Vendor Coordination

Communicate with suppliers to place orders, confirm availability, and follow up on delivery schedules

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to resolve issues and ensure reliability
Order Management

Process purchase orders and track deliveries to meet required timelines

Communicate any order delays and provide status updates to relevant teams
Inventory Monitoring

Monitor inventory levels and forecast requirements to avoid stockouts or overstocking

Coordinate with inventory management teams to optimize stock replenishments
Documentation and Compliance

Manage purchase orders, shipping documentation, and vendor invoices

Ensure supply chain activities comply with internal policies and external regulations
Cost Optimization

Negotiate pricing and shipping arrangements with suppliers

Identify opportunities to reduce costs within the supply chain
Logistics Coordination

Arrange transportation for incoming shipments and liaise with logistics providers

Track shipments and provide timely updates to stakeholders
Data Management and Reporting

Maintain accurate records in supply chain and ERP systems

Generate reports on supplier performance, inventory, and delivery timelines
Problem Solving and Process Improvement

Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and recommend process improvements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement tools that boost efficiency
Qualifications and Skills
Required:

2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics (preferably supporting US operations)

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and timelines

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to resolve logistical challenges
Preferred:

Experience in a remote role supporting supply chain teams

Familiarity with ERP or supply chain systems such as SAP or Oracle

Knowledge of global logistics and customs regulations
