Job Summary

We are seeking a Short-Term Rental Virtual Assistant to support property owners and managers in operating short-term rental properties. This role involves managing guest communications, coordinating bookings, and ensuring an excellent guest experience while handling administrative and operational tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to guest inquiries and booking requests promptly via email, messaging platforms, or phone.
  • Manage property listings across platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com.
  • Coordinate with cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure properties are guest-ready.
  • Update calendars to prevent double bookings and optimize occupancy rates.
  • Handle guest check-in/check-out processes and provide instructions.
  • Resolve guest issues or concerns during their stay to maintain high ratings.
  • Monitor and respond to guest reviews professionally.
  • Track and report on booking trends, revenue, and property performance.
  • Assist with pricing adjustments based on market trends.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

  • Proven experience with short-term rental platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Vrbo).
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Ability to handle guest concerns professionally and empathetically.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in property management tools and apps for short-term rentals.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with property managers or rental hosts.
  • Knowledge of dynamic pricing strategies for short-term rentals.
  • Familiarity with time zone management and US-based guest expectations.
