Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Support Specialist with hands-on experience in Entrata integration. This role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting API integrations, backend configurations, and data flows between our systems and property management platforms. If you have a solid background in software engineering and property tech integrations, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain reliable integrations with Entrata and other property management systems

  • Create and optimize API endpoints, webhooks, and data synchronization tools

  • Develop data mapping, transformation, and validation processes

  • Implement error handling, retry mechanisms, and monitoring for integration reliability

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Ruby on Rails code

  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed

  • Debug integration issues across multiple platforms and environments

  • Create comprehensive documentation for internal and external technical users

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications

  • Stay updated on Entrata updates and API changes, and proactively improve integration architecture

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development

  • Proven track record integrating with Entrata or similar property management platforms

  • Experience working with RESTful APIs, OAuth, and complex data transformation

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases

  • Background job processing experience (e.g., Sidekiq, Resque)

  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub, testing frameworks (RSpec, MiniTest), and TDD practices

  • Experience with JSON, XML, and data interchange formats

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and written communication skills

  • Experience in Agile development using tools like Asana or similar project trackers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks

  • Knowledge of GraphQL, Webpack, Babel, and SASS/LESS

  • Familiarity with Heroku, Docker, and CI/CD deployment pipelines

  • Exposure to AWS or similar cloud environments

  • Experience with ETL pipelines, data migration, and handling sensitive data securely

  • Strong knowledge of property management workflows and database structures

  • Previous experience working remotely in a collaborative development environment

  • Versatility in other programming languages such as Python or Node.js
