Overview:

Osprey Talent Solutions is supporting a mission-focused national security partner seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and sustain secure DevSecOps infrastructure within a complex, multi-enclave enterprise environment.

This role supports mission-critical systems operating across classified domains. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and operational resilience across cloud and on-premise infrastructure supporting data-driven investigative systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, test, and operate DevSecOps infrastructure tools and environments
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions
  • Deploy and configure services within cloud and hybrid environments
  • Manage and secure Linux-based systems supporting enterprise applications
  • Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines aligned with DevSecOps best practices
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
  • Troubleshoot distributed systems and cluster-based architectures
  • Respond to and resolve critical infrastructure incidents within defined timelines
  • Collaborate closely with development and security teams to ensure secure integration and deployment

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Eight or more years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience supporting cloud platforms within secure government environments
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms
  • Understanding of networking, security, and secure system configuration principles

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience supporting Elasticsearch or other search/indexing clusters
  • Experience managing repository managers such as Artifactory or Nexus
  • Experience with virtualization technologies
  • Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-prem integration
  • Experience working within classified, multi-enclave environments

Work Environment:

  • On-site in Chantilly, VA
  • U.S. citizenship required. Must be eligible to complete agency-specific polygraph requirements
  • Must be able to respond to critical operational incidents within defined timelines
