Osprey Talent Solutions is supporting a mission-focused national security partner seeking Systems Administrators to support secure enterprise infrastructure within a complex government environment. These roles support mission systems operating across multiple classified domains and require individuals comfortable working in fast-paced, operationally relevant environments.
The selected candidates will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, servers, and supporting infrastructure while ensuring reliability, performance, and security across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain operating system workstations and servers.
- Perform software installation, upgrades, and patch management for operating systems and supporting applications.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot operational issues across infrastructure environments.
- Support system backups, data integrity processes, and recovery operations.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and configuration records.
- Conduct routine system audits to ensure compliance with security and configuration standards.
- Support infrastructure used for analytical and operational tools.
- Respond to system incidents and assist in maintaining operational uptime.
Technical Experience
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Active Directory administration.
- Virtualization technologies such as VMware or similar platforms.
- System monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Backup and recovery processes.
- Security patching and system updates.
- Basic scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or similar).
- Additional experience with the following technologies is beneficial:
- Cloud environments supporting government workloads.
- Containerization platforms.
- Identity management and authentication systems.
- Enterprise logging or data platform tools.
- Automation or DevOps tooling.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Approximately 8+ years of systems administration experience.
- Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.
- Experience supporting complex enterprise or classified infrastructure environments.
Work Environment
- On-site support in Chantilly, Virginia.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to support mission systems operating in classified environments.
