Orvix Engineering is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Recruiter to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will be responsible for attracting and hiring top-tier engineering talent that aligns with Orvix Engineerings values of innovation, quality, and collaboration. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that we continue to hire the best talent to drive our engineering excellence forward. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role where your ability to source, evaluate, and manage relationships with candidates will have a direct impact on the companys success.

Note: The role is strictly for candidates within the United states.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-cycle recruitment, particularly in the engineering or technical fields, and be familiar with both traditional and modern recruitment strategies. You will need to be proactive, organized, and capable of fostering a positive experience for candidates while maintaining a strong alignment with Orvixs values.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full-Cycle Recruitment

  • Manage the complete recruitment process for all open roles, from initial job posting to offer acceptance.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to define job requirements, responsibilities, and desired qualifications for open positions.

  • Develop detailed job descriptions that align with Orvix Engineerings project goals, technical needs, and company culture.

  • Source and attract high-quality candidates using a variety of methods, including job boards, social media, industry-specific platforms, and networking.

  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess technical qualifications, cultural fit, and career aspirations.

  • Coordinate and schedule in-person or virtual interviews, ensuring a seamless process for both candidates and hiring managers.

  • Provide hiring managers with timely candidate feedback, and assist in candidate evaluations based on technical skills and company fit.

  • Manage the offer and negotiation process, ensuring both candidate and hiring manager expectations are met.

  • Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment screening activities.

2. Candidate Experience & Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring clear, transparent, and professional communication at all times.

  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience by ensuring a smooth and positive process from start to finish.

  • Answer candidate inquiries regarding job roles, Orvix Engineering's values, and organizational culture.

  • Ensure timely follow-up with all candidates, providing updates regarding their status in the recruitment process.

  • Collect and provide feedback to candidates, regardless of outcome, maintaining a positive impression of Orvix Engineering.

3. Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates for both current and future roles.

  • Engage in proactive talent sourcing to identify high-quality candidates, with a special focus on passive candidates within the engineering industry.

  • Leverage social media platforms such as LinkedIn, industry-specific websites, and professional networks to source diverse candidates.

  • Maintain and nurture relationships with potential candidates for future hiring needs, ensuring Orvix Engineering is always prepared for upcoming projects.

  • Attend engineering conferences, networking events, and university career fairs to attract and build relationships with future candidates.

4. Collaboration & Recruitment Strategy

  • Partner with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs, team dynamics, and project requirements.

  • Advise and educate hiring managers on best practices for interviewing, candidate evaluation, and maintaining a positive candidate experience.

  • Participate in discussions around compensation, benefits, and job offers to ensure competitive and attractive packages for candidates.

  • Continuously analyze recruitment processes, providing recommendations for improvement and implementing innovative hiring strategies.

  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure the recruitment strategy aligns with Orvix Engineerings diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.

5. Employer Branding & Recruitment Marketing

  • Promote Orvix Engineerings employer brand by ensuring job descriptions, recruitment materials, and communication reflect the companys values, culture, and vision.

  • Work closely with the HR and Marketing teams to enhance Orvixs presence on social media and in industry publications to attract top talent.

  • Create and implement strategies that highlight Orvix Engineering as an employer of choice in the engineering industry.

6. Data Tracking & Reporting

  • Track and manage recruitment data, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality metrics, providing reports to management as needed.

  • Use recruitment analytics to identify trends, optimize processes, and make data-driven decisions to enhance the hiring experience.

  • Ensure all recruitment-related activities are tracked within Orvix Engineerings applicant tracking system (ATS) and maintain an organized database of candidates.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably within engineering or technical fields.

  • Proven experience with full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates.

  • In-depth knowledge of sourcing tools, social media platforms, job boards, and networking strategies.

  • Strong understanding of engineering roles, technical qualifications, and industry-specific requirements.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple roles and deadlines.

  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software tools.

  • A proactive and adaptable attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting for a variety of engineering roles (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical, software).

  • Familiarity with engineering-specific recruiting platforms and job boards.

  • Knowledge of labor laws, compliance regulations, and best practices in recruitment.

  • Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., SHRM-CP, AIRS, PHR) is a plus.

  • Experience with recruitment marketing and employer branding.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
