Location: This is a hybrid role with regular in-person collaboration at a nearby plant or facility. The preferred location is Riverside, CA, but we are also open to candidates located near Houston, TX, Conley/Atlanta, GA, Sacramento, CA, or Clackamas/Portland, OR.
Note: Manufacturing finance experience is required. Candidates with experience in food manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, consumer products, packaging, or related production environments are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Description
- Serve as a key financial partner to plant and operations leadership.
- Analyze production costs, labor, overhead, usage, yield, efficiency, and manufacturing variances.
- Maintain and support standard costing, including labor rates, overhead rates, and cost components.
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for plant performance.
- Support month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and plant-level P&L reporting.
- Lead inventory reconciliation processes for raw materials, work in process, and finished goods.
- Support physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and audit-related activities.
- Partner with Plant Directors and operations leaders on annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, waste reduction opportunities, and areas for improved operational efficiency.
- Translate financial data into clear, practical insights for production and plant leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, plant finance, or operational finance experience.
- Experience preparing financial statements, reconciliations, variance analysis, and month-end close support.
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Power BI or similar data analysis tools preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile complex data across multiple systems.
- Ability to communicate clearly with finance, operations, production, and plant leadership teams.
