Location: This role is primarily on-site in Shelton, CT, with Newtown, CT also available as an office option. Hybrid flexibility may be considered for attorneys with extensive medical malpractice experience.
Note: Candidates must have 3+ years of litigation experience. Medical malpractice defense experience is strongly preferred, but we will also consider personal injury attorneys with substantial litigation experience and strong medical records experience.

Job Description
- Defend medical malpractice and professional liability matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, reports, and case strategy documents
- Review and analyze medical records, expert materials, and litigation evidence
- Conduct legal research and support case preparation for hearings, depositions, mediations, trials, and appeals
- Work directly with attorneys, experts, clients, and opposing counsel
- Manage deadlines, court filings, discovery obligations, and case progress
- Contribute to a team-oriented litigation practice with strong mentorship and professional development
Qualifications
- 3+ years of litigation experience required
- Medical malpractice defense experience strongly preferred
- Personal injury litigation experience may be considered if the candidate has substantial medical records experience
- Connecticut Bar admission required
- Strong writing, research, case analysis, and communication skills
- Experience with depositions, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances preferred
- Ability to work on-site in Shelton or Newtown, CT
