Location
This role is based in New Jersey, with office options in the Monmouth County and Middlesex County areas. The position is primarily in-office during onboarding, with hybrid flexibility available after training.
Note
Must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey and have either 1+ year of New Jersey family law experience or 5+ years of strong civil litigation experience.

Job Description
- Manage family law matters from intake through resolution, including divorce, custody, child support, alimony, domestic violence, and post-judgment issues.
- Draft pleadings, motions, certifications, discovery, settlement agreements, and other family law documents.
- Appear in court for conferences, motions, hearings, and other proceedings.
- Conduct mediations, negotiations, client meetings, and case strategy discussions.
- Communicate directly with clients and provide clear, practical guidance throughout the legal process.
- Develop case strategy with a focus on preparation, negotiation, and strong advocacy.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff while independently managing your own matters.
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Bar admission required.
- 1+ year of New Jersey family law experience strongly preferred.
- Candidates with 5+ years of civil litigation experience may also be considered.
- Experience with divorce, custody, support, domestic violence, motion practice, discovery, or negotiations preferred.
- Strong legal writing, research, advocacy, and client communication skills.
- Ability to manage cases independently and stay organized in a fast-paced practice.
- Criminal law experience involving domestic violence matters may be relevant.
