Location
This opportunity may be based in either Evansville, Indiana or Louisville, Kentucky. The role is initially office-based so you can become fully immersed in our clients, team, and approach. Experienced attorneys may become eligible for hybrid or remote flexibility after the initial ramp-up period, subject to managing partner approval.
Note
Candidates must have 4+ years of attorney experience specifically involving construction law and must hold an active bar license in the state where they will practice. Louisville candidates must be licensed in Kentucky, and Evansville candidates must be licensed in Indiana.

Job Description
- Represent clients in a broad range of construction law matters, including disputes, claims, contracts, and related litigation.
- Counsel construction industry clients on legal risks, contractual obligations, and practical strategies for resolving issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts and other project-related agreements.
- Manage matters from initial strategy through resolution while maintaining strong communication with clients.
- Conduct legal research, prepare motions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients to identify issues early and develop efficient, business-minded solutions.
- Participate in negotiations, mediations, hearings, litigation, and other dispute resolution proceedings as appropriate.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of construction law attorney experience.
- Active Kentucky bar license for the Louisville office or active Indiana bar license for the Evansville office.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, claims, disputes, litigation, or closely related construction matters.
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and client communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage matters while collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients.
