Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year

Location

Fresno, CA or San Diego, CA. This is a primarily in person hybrid opportunity with daily remote flexibility and flexible start and end times. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite most days.

Note

An active California Bar license and 5+ years of civil litigation experience are required. Candidates should have meaningful experience in business litigation, property or real estate litigation, employment litigation, or personal injury litigation. Solo practice experience is welcome. Candidates coming from in house roles should have substantial hands on deposition and trial experience.

Job Description

• Take ownership of a diverse civil litigation caseload from strategy through resolution.
• Handle matters involving business, property, employment, personal injury, and related civil disputes.
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Develop case strategy and provide clients with clear, practical guidance throughout the litigation process.
• Work directly with senior attorneys and team members while independently managing key case responsibilities.
• Participate in ongoing training and knowledge sharing across the litigation team.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience with business, property, employment, or personal injury litigation.
• Strong litigation writing, motion practice, discovery, and deposition skills.
• Trial experience or substantial trial preparation experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to independently manage cases, deadlines, clients, and competing priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and client communication skills.
