Location: Glastonbury, Connecticut – This is an on-site leadership role where you'll work closely with executive leadership and have a visible impact across the organization. After successfully completing six months of employment, you'll have the flexibility to work one hybrid day per week.
Note: We are seeking candidates with 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 2+ years leading HR initiatives or teams. Professional services or law firm experience is highly preferred.

Job Description
- Lead all Human Resources operations and serve as the organization's primary HR subject matter expert.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and update employee handbook, HR policies, and compliance programs.
- Lead employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and risk management initiatives.
- Manage leave administration, accommodations, workers' compensation, and unemployment matters.
- Oversee recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, compensation benchmarking, and organizational development.
- Administer benefits, HRIS, payroll vendor relationships, and employee records.
- Coach managers on performance management, employee development, and leadership best practices.
- Develop employee engagement, retention, recognition, and culture initiatives.
- Track workforce metrics and assist leadership with HR budgeting and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- 2+ years of HR leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
- Experience handling employee relations and workplace investigations.
- HRIS experience required; iSolved experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certifications are preferred.
- Professional services or law firm experience is strongly preferred.
