Sign Installation Technician

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Location

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Downingtown, PA, with field installation work at customer locations.

Note

Candidates must have 2+ years of sign installation or closely related mechanical, construction, electrical, bucket truck, tree work, or field installation experience. A valid driver's license, comfort working at heights, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds are required.

Job Description

• Install commercial building signs, vinyl graphics, poles, billboards, and other sign structures
• Remove, repair, service, and replace existing signage at customer locations
• Measure, place, connect, and install signage according to drawings, specs, and quality standards
• Load and transport signs, tools, equipment, and materials to job sites
• Operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, bucket trucks, and related installation equipment safely
• Work on poles, buildings, billboards, and other elevated structures
• Assist with electrical, welding, mechanical, and structural installation tasks as needed
• Read installation drawings and follow written and verbal instructions
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and clear debris after each project
• Communicate professionally with team members, customers, and supervisors in the field

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a sign installer or similar hands-on field installation role
• Valid driver's license required
• Comfortable working at heights, on lifts, and around elevated structures
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Strong mechanical ability and attention to detail
• Ability to read installation drawings, specs, and measurements
• Experience with electrical, welding, bucket trucks, tree work, construction, or related trades is helpful
• Reliable, motivated, safety-minded, and able to work well on a team
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round
