Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid: 1 day work-from-home per week; otherwise in-office)
Note: Must be licensed and in good standing with the Colorado Bar, currently live in Colorado, and have 2+ years of civil litigation experience (construction defect experience is a plus, but interest in practicing construction defect law is required).

Job Description
- Manage civil defense matters from early case assessment through resolution, including construction defect litigation
- Draft and argue motions (including dispositive motions), pleadings, and key case strategy documents
- Handle written discovery: propound, respond, meet-and-confer, and motion practice when needed
- Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses and work with experts
- Appear at hearings and actively support trial preparation (trial participation encouraged as experience allows)
- Communicate professionally with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience (insurance defense strongly preferred)
- Active Colorado Bar license and in good standing
- Currently living in Colorado
- Solid working knowledge of Colorado and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Construction defect litigation experience preferred; judicial clerkship experience is a plus
- Genuine interest in practicing construction defect law (required)
