Location: This role is based in Santa Ana, California. We strongly prefer on-site collaboration, though we may consider hybrid or remote flexibility for more senior candidates.
Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in California and must have at least 1 year of construction defect experience.

Job Description
- Handle construction defect matters through all phases of litigation
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other case-related documents
- Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations, hearings, and court appearances
- Analyze liability, damages, repair issues, and case strategy
- Work closely with clients, experts, carriers, consultants, and opposing counsel
- Manage case files proactively and help move matters toward efficient resolution
- Conduct legal research and provide practical recommendations to support litigation strategy
- Collaborate with a team of experienced litigators on construction-related disputes and related civil matters
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 1+ year of construction defect experience
- Strong litigation writing and case management skills
- Experience with discovery, depositions, motions, and client communication
- Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
- Insurance defense or broader civil litigation experience is a plus
- Trial preparation experience is preferred
