Location

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Greeley, Colorado. We are primarily seeking attorneys who are based in or able to work regularly from Northern Colorado. Relocation candidates are welcome, although relocation assistance is not available.

Note

Candidates must be actively licensed to practice law in Colorado, have 5+ years of attorney experience, and have at least 1+ year of workers' compensation experience. Spanish fluency is strongly preferred.

Job Description

  • Manage a workers' compensation caseload from initial evaluation through settlement, hearing, or other resolution.
  • Counsel injured workers regarding benefits, medical treatment, wage loss, impairment, and the workers' compensation process.
  • Develop case strategy, investigate claims, review medical evidence, and identify the strongest path toward a successful outcome.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement documents, and other legal filings.
  • Conduct depositions, prepare witnesses, appear at hearings and proceedings, and advocate effectively for clients.
  • Negotiate with employers, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and other parties to resolve claims.
  • Maintain clear, compassionate communication with clients and keep them informed throughout their cases.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to move matters efficiently and provide excellent client service.
  • Build professional relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

Qualifications

  • Active Colorado Bar license in good standing.
  • 5+ years of attorney practice experience.
  • 1+ year of workers' compensation experience.
  • Strong litigation, negotiation, legal writing, case management, and client communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage matters while collaborating effectively with a legal team.
  • Spanish fluency strongly preferred.
