Location: San Diego, California – Hybrid work environment with in-office collaboration and flexibility.

Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in California and have at least 2 years of California employment law litigation experience. Candidates from plaintiff, defense, or qualifying in-house litigation backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

  • Manage California employment litigation matters from intake through resolution.
  • Handle court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
  • Provide practical legal advice and counseling to clients on employment law matters.
  • Collaborate closely with experienced attorneys on complex legal strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Participate in business development and professional organizations as desired.

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar license.
  • 2+ years of California employment law experience.
  • Prior employment litigation experience is required.
  • Experience representing plaintiffs, employers, or qualifying in-house clients with litigation responsibilities.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
