Location: Hybrid role based in Walnut Creek, California. Candidates must already be located in Northern California and able to come into the office at least 1 day per week.

Note: Must have California Bar admission plus meaningful corporate and real estate experience. HOA/common interest development experience is a strong plus.

Job Description

  • Advise clients on corporate counsel and real estate matters in a fast-paced practice
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, corporate documents, and real estate-related agreements
  • Counsel clients on day-to-day legal issues, governance matters, risk management, and business decisions
  • Work directly with clients and serve as a trusted advisor on ongoing legal needs
  • Partner with senior attorneys on strategy, issue-spotting, and high-level client guidance
  • Support matters involving common interest developments, governance, and related operational issues
  • Contribute to a growing practice and build strong long-term client relationships
  • Provide clear, practical, business-minded legal advice backed by strong writing and analysis

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar license
  • 4+ years of attorney experience, though more senior candidates are welcome
  • Strong corporate and real estate law experience
  • Excellent writing, drafting, and analytical skills
  • Organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities well
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sound professional judgment
  • HOA or common interest development experience is a plus
  • Writing sample required
