Location
This position is based in West Linn, Oregon, with hybrid and remote flexibility available. We are open to discussing the right arrangement with experienced attorneys who can effectively manage their cases and clients.
Note
Candidates must be admitted to practice law in Oregon and have 1+ years of experience practicing family law. Direct experience with contested family law matters is strongly valued.

Job Description
- Manage family law matters from initial consultation through negotiation, mediation, hearing, settlement, or trial.
- Represent clients in divorce, child custody, child support, parenting time, property division, and other domestic relations matters.
- Handle contested proceedings, court appearances, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Maintain direct client relationships and provide clear, practical counsel throughout each matter.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, agreements, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Develop case strategy, manage deadlines, and move matters efficiently toward resolution.
- Collaborate with attorneys and support professionals while maintaining meaningful autonomy over your caseload.
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Bar admission and good standing.
- 1+ years of family law practice experience.
- Experience handling contested family law matters.
- Strong legal writing, negotiation, advocacy, and client communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage cases and competing deadlines.
- Attorneys from traditional firms, solo practices, and in house backgrounds are welcome.
