Location: On-site in Chicago, IL. This is an in-office role for attorneys who want to be fully immersed in the team, the litigation process, and the day-to-day pace of a busy plaintiff PI practice.

Note: Must be licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar. This role is best suited for someone with 0–4 years of experience who wants to handle a high-volume plaintiff personal injury caseload and grow into a true trial attorney. Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Job Description

  • Manage a high-volume caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from inception through resolution
  • Handle litigation tasks including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and case strategy
  • Attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties
  • Negotiate settlements and help drive cases toward strong outcomes
  • Assist with trial preparation and gain meaningful exposure to trial work
  • Work closely with firm leadership while building the ability to independently manage your own cases
  • Help contribute to a fast-paced, high-accountability plaintiff PI practice

Qualifications

  • 0–4 years of personal injury experience, or a strong interest in plaintiff personal injury litigation
  • Active Illinois Bar license and good standing required
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines in a high-volume environment
  • Strong communication skills with clients and opposing counsel
  • Litigation, deposition, courtroom, or trial prep exposure is a plus
  • Spanish language skills are a plus
