Pay: $120,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year

Location: Fully remote within California. We welcome attorneys located anywhere in the state and offer flexibility designed to support both professional growth and work-life integration.
Note: Applicants must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar and have at least 2 years of civil litigation defense experience. Experience with general liability, insurance defense, mass tort, construction defect, or employment defense litigation is highly preferred.

Job Description
- Manage a diverse caseload of civil defense matters.
- Draft and respond to complaints, motions, pleadings, and written discovery.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Attend hearings, mediations, and client meetings.
- Assist with trial preparation and participate in trial proceedings when needed.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and colleagues.
- Work independently while collaborating with attorneys across practice groups.
- Handle case strategy and litigation responsibilities from inception through resolution.
- Meet billable requirements and contribute to a high-performing team environment.
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing.
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
- 2+ years of civil litigation defense experience.
- Experience managing multiple cases simultaneously.
- Deposition, motion practice, and discovery experience.
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Trial and mediation experience are a plus.
- Experience with general liability, insurance defense, mass tort, construction defect, or employment defense is preferred.
