Location
This is a full time, on-site opportunity in Los Angeles, California. Our team works closely together in the office, making this a strong fit for an experienced litigation paralegal who enjoys hands on collaboration with attorneys, clients, and support staff.
Note
Candidates must have 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience and strong working knowledge of California civil procedure, discovery, court filings, calendaring, and litigation deadlines. Plaintiff side personal injury experience is strongly preferred.

Job Description
- Manage litigation matters from filing through trial preparation while keeping cases organized and moving forward.
- Draft and file complaints, pleadings, discovery, deposition notices, subpoenas, and other litigation documents.
- Maintain comprehensive calendars for statutes, hearings, discovery deadlines, court dates, and procedural requirements.
- Coordinate service of process and monitor responsive pleadings, answers, and defaults.
- Assist attorneys with discovery responses, settlement preparation, and active case strategy.
- Coordinate depositions, witnesses, experts, and trial related scheduling.
- Prepare and file trial documents and support attorneys throughout trial preparation.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors.
- Identify procedural issues early and proactively resolve case management problems.
- Supervise, mentor, and delegate work to assigned legal assistants.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Strong knowledge of California civil procedure and state court filing requirements.
- Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, deposition notices, subpoenas, and litigation documents.
- Excellent calendaring and deadline management skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple active cases and priorities.
- Strong written, verbal, organizational, and client communication skills.
- Experience supervising or mentoring legal assistants.
- Plaintiff side personal injury experience strongly preferred.
- Paralegal certification preferred.
- Spanish speaking ability is a plus, but not required.
