Location: Hybrid role based in Garner, North Carolina, serving clients throughout Wake, Johnston, and Harnett Counties.
Note: Must be licensed in North Carolina and have 3+ years of family law experience. The firm does not want to pay a search fee for attorneys with under 3 years of experience.

Job Description
- Represent clients in a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, domestic violence, guardianship, and related disputes
- Manage cases from initial strategy through negotiation, court appearances, and resolution
- Advocate effectively in hearings, mediations, and other contested family law proceedings
- Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, agreements, and other legal documents with strong attention to detail
- Provide clear, proactive communication so clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the process
- Develop legal strategy tailored to each client's goals, family dynamics, and long-term interests
- Collaborate with the broader team to deliver an excellent client experience and strong case outcomes
- Build trust with clients during emotionally charged situations through professionalism, empathy, and responsiveness
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina law license
- 3+ years of family law experience
- Strong courtroom, case management, and client communication skills
- Ability to handle family law matters with sound judgment and empathy
- Strong legal writing and advocacy skills
- Comfortable managing a meaningful caseload and working independently
