Location:Full-time, on-site role based in St. Louis, Missouri.

Note:Must be licensed and in good standing in Illinois and must have hands-on personal injury litigation experience handling Illinois matters (plaintiff or defense). No trial experience required.

Job Description

  • Manage a personal injury litigation caseload from intake through resolution, focused on Illinois matters
  • Meet with clients, build trust, and guide them through the legal process with compassion and clarity
  • Evaluate claims, assess damages, and develop practical case strategies
  • Draft and respond to litigation documents, discovery, demand packages, and settlement communications
  • Communicate with insurers and opposing counsel regarding claims, demands, and offers
  • Prepare cases for trial as needed (trial experience not required, but litigation readiness matters)
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to keep cases moving efficiently and hit deadlines

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • 2+ years (up to 5 years) of personal injury experience (plaintiff or defense)
  • Active Illinois Bar license in good standing
  • Demonstrated experience litigating Illinois PI matters
  • Strong negotiation skills and sound judgment in valuing claims
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage deadlines in a busy environment
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
