Note: Must have an active Connecticut Bar license in good standing, 5+ years of concentrated matrimonial and family law experience, and a $500K+ portable book of business. Strong courtroom, negotiation, client development, and business development experience are essential.

Job Description
- Lead sophisticated matrimonial and family law matters, including contested and uncontested divorce, custody, parenting time, support, and post-judgment matters.
- Represent high-net-worth clients in complex financial matters involving equitable distribution, alimony, child support, and related issues.
- Draft and negotiate prenuptial, postnuptial, and cohabitation agreements.
- Serve as lead counsel in negotiations, mediations, contested litigation, trials, and appellate matters as appropriate.
- Maintain, deepen, and grow a substantial portable book of business while developing new referral and client relationships.
- Partner with attorneys in Trusts & Estates, Tax, Criminal, Real Estate, Corporate, and other practices to provide comprehensive client solutions.
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to business development, practice group initiatives, and firm leadership.
- Manage billable responsibilities while helping expand the firm's Connecticut matrimonial and family law presence.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Active Connecticut Bar license in good standing.
- 5+ years of directly relevant matrimonial and family law experience.
- $500K+ portable book of business with demonstrated client origination and business development success.
- Experience handling sophisticated divorce, family law, financial, negotiation, mediation, and litigation matters.
- Excellent courtroom presence, judgment, negotiation, writing, and client communication skills.
- New York Bar admission is a plus.
