Note: Must be admitted to practice in New York State and have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Job Description

  • Manage litigation matters through all phases, from initial case evaluation through resolution.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, memoranda of law, settlement documents, and other legal filings.
  • Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, arbitrations, oral arguments, and trials.
  • Advise clients regarding legal strategy, risk, and potential outcomes.
  • Negotiate settlements and work toward favorable resolutions.
  • Consult with prospective clients and evaluate potential matters.
  • Maintain strong client relationships while managing deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support professionals across practice areas and offices.
  • Deliver thoughtful, responsive, and high-quality legal service.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active New York State Bar admission
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively.
  • Genuine interest in continued professional development and client service.
