Location: Based in Aliso Viejo, CA — a well-situated Orange County community with easy freeway access. This is a hybrid role with a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
Note: This role requires 3+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience with direct involvement in landlord/tenant, eviction, foreclosure, creditor rights, or creditor bankruptcy matters. Candidates without this specific background will not be considered.

Job Description
- Manage civil litigation cases from inception through resolution, including complaint preparation, calendaring, discovery, and trial support
- Propound and respond to discovery, draft motions, and maintain accurate case timelines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Handle law and motion matters and coordinate with attorneys on hearing preparation and filings
- Assist attorneys with all phases of trial preparation — organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
- Maintain up-to-date client status reports and case management entries in the firm's online tracking system
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed
- Support a medium-sized caseload independently, managing competing priorities with precision and reliability
Qualifications
- 3+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting
- Direct experience in one or more of the following: landlord/tenant, eviction, foreclosure, creditor rights, or creditor bankruptcy
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedure from filing through trial
- Proficiency with e-filing systems and case management platforms
- Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of meeting deadlines consistently
- Professional, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on a full caseload
- Stable, continuous work history demonstrating tenure and reliability (a plus)
