Location: This position is based in South Bend, Indiana. Attorneys should expect to be in the office the majority of the time initially, with hybrid flexibility available once trained and fully integrated into the team.
Note: Candidates should have a J.D., be licensed to practice law in Indiana or able to become licensed promptly, and have relevant family law, litigation, or closely related legal experience.

Job Description
- Represent clients in divorce, custody, parenting time, support, and related family law matters
- Manage client communication with professionalism, empathy, and confidence
- Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, discovery, and court filings
- Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, negotiations, and client meetings
- Work closely with partners, attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to move matters forward efficiently
- Help clients navigate sensitive legal issues with clear advice and practical solutions
- Build long-term client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the family law practice
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Indiana law license preferred, or ability to become licensed promptly
- 3+ years of legal experience preferred
- Family law experience strongly preferred
- Strong writing, advocacy, negotiation, and client communication skills
- Ability to manage files independently while working collaboratively with a team
- Portable business is welcome, but not required
