Location:

Louisville, Kentucky (Hybrid) — Enjoy the flexibility of working three days in the office and two days remotely each week.

Note:

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Kentucky and have at least 5 years of business litigation experience. Strong experience handling written discovery, depositions, pleadings, substantive motions, mediations, and court appearances is required.

Job Description

  • Represent clients in complex business and commercial litigation matters.
  • Manage cases through all phases of litigation.
  • Conduct written discovery and defend and take depositions.
  • Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and other substantive filings.
  • Participate in mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and court appearances.
  • Assist with trial preparation and trial strategy.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups.
  • Deliver strategic legal advice while maintaining exceptional client service.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Kentucky Bar license.
  • 5+ years of business or commercial litigation experience.
  • Strong experience with discovery, depositions, pleadings, and motion practice.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Trusts and estates litigation experience is a plus.
