Location: Dallas, Texas — This is an on-site opportunity designed to provide hands-on mentorship and collaboration. Attorneys with fewer than five years of experience are expected to work in the office, with potential flexibility after six months for the right candidate.
Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Texas and have at least 2 years of litigation experience. Insurance coverage experience is preferred but not required. Strong candidates from litigation, in-house legal departments, or relevant practice areas will be considered.

Job Description
- Manage a docket of insurance coverage litigation matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda.
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw and/or Lexis.
- Analyze insurance policies and develop coverage opinions and litigation strategies.
- Participate in mediations, hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
- Communicate directly with sophisticated insurance carrier clients.
- Collaborate with partners on complex litigation and appeals.
- Assist with trial preparation and second-chair trial opportunities when cases proceed to trial.
- Maintain accurate case management and meet litigation deadlines.
Qualifications
- Active Texas Bar license.
- 2+ years of litigation experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience drafting litigation documents independently.
- Comfortable managing multiple cases and deadlines.
- Insurance coverage experience is highly preferred but not required.
- Federal court experience or knowledge of the Federal Rules is a plus.
- Candidates with relevant in-house experience are encouraged to apply.
