Job Description
- Manage employment litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Analyze claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and substantive legal memoranda
- Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
- Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and other proceedings
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to advance cases efficiently
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 4+ years of employment law litigation experience
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage cases independently while contributing to a team environment
- Backgrounds in plaintiff, defense, in-house, or solo practice are welcome
