ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role will help scale the finance organization alongside rapid organizational growth and serve as a key contributor to the finance organization. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-moving environment and bring curiosity and initiative to help grow and evolve the organization. This position reports directly to the CFO and partners closely with the Controller and accounting organization.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can identify problems, develop solutions, and work independently when required. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail and the ability to oversee deliverables and ensure consistent accuracy. As the company grows, this role will expand and may ultimately provide guidance and leadership to a team of one or more financial analysts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.
  • Analyze financial performance, trends, and key drivers to support executive decision-making.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles across business units / locations.
  • Perform variance analysis, provide analytical insights, and identify key business drivers impacting financial performance.
  • Develop and deliver financial dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Provide financial recommendations related to cost optimization, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and financial impact assessments for strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Identify and implement ways to improve efficiency and accuracy through process enhancements and the use of finance and accounting software and systems.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. MBA or CPA a preferred
  • 5 - 10 years of progressive financial planning and analysis experience
  • Experience with various finance and accounting systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly. OneStream experience a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex financial modeling, pivot tables, macros, and data visualization. Strong PowerPoint and financial presentation skills required
  • Excellent financial modeling and forecasting capabilities
  • High level analytical and critical thinking skills combined with strong business acumen and he ability to understand operational drivers
  • Excellent communication and strong English skills are critical
  • Ambitious and willing to learn, but willing to collaboratively and professionally challenge the status quo to drive improvements
  • Experience in small and mid-market multi-location / multi-site businesses preferred.
