Orba is searching for a decisive and insightful DevOps engineer to join our team. As a DevOps engineer, you will be involved in various stages of each of our product's lifespan and should remain abreast of technological advancements to promote efficiency. You should also keep track of customer reviews to enhance marketability.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with coworkers to conceptualize, develop, and release software.

• Conducting quality assurance to ensure that the software meets prescribed guidelines.

• Rolling out fixes and upgrades to software, as needed.

• Securing software to prevent security breaches and other vulnerabilities.

• Collecting and reviewing customers' feedback to enhance user experience.

• Suggesting alterations to workflow in order to improve efficiency and success.

• Pitching ideas for projects based on gaps in the market and technological advancements.

Requirements:

• 2 years of professional experience as a DevOps / SRE / Systems Engineer

• Hands-on experience with high traffic production infrastructure

• Strong knowledge of Linux and computer networking

• Experience with AWS cloud and services

• Experience with configuration management systems

• Experience with managing and monitoring databases

• Next to speaking English fluently, you can understand and translate business requirements into clearly articulated technology solutions

• Understanding the cloud ecosystem in modern software development: Infrastructure as Code, Immutable infrastructure, git, CI/CD pipelines, containers, serverless, monitoring

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL databases and RDS

• Hands-on production experience with CloudFormation or Terraform on AWS cloud.
