Job Description:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join Blu EV's Technology team and help build, automate, and secure the infrastructure and software delivery pipelines powering our growing e-mobility ecosystem. You will work closely with Development, QA, and Security teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient software delivery across our cloud and infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated testing and security checks.
  • Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and other repetitive operational processes.
  • Embed security practices across the software development lifecycle, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and container scanning.
  • Deploy, manage, and secure cloud environments across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Manage secrets, identity, access controls, and security configurations using appropriate tools and best practices.
  • Support and secure Docker and Kubernetes environments, including image scanning, RBAC, and network policies.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and SIEM solutions to identify and respond to reliability and security issues.
  • Support vulnerability management, patching, incident response, and root cause analysis.
  • Manage software releases, deployments, rollback procedures, and configuration/version control.
  • Support security audits, compliance requirements, and infrastructure security standards.
  • Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and business teams to improve DevOps processes, reliability, and security.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or software operations.
  • Strong experience administering Linux and Windows environments.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Ruby.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, Bitbucket, or similar.
  • Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including security considerations.
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar configuration management/IaC tools.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Azure Monitor, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, IAM, and CI/CD security practices.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, Snyk, OWASP ZAP, or equivalent SAST/DAST/SCA tools.
  • Experience deploying and securing applications on at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to assess the potential impact of infrastructure, security, and release changes.
