Purpose of the job

Responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting the SDM (Subscriber Data Management) core network to ensure maximum service availability, seamless customer experience, and compliance with business and security requirements. The role involves daily operations, proactive monitoring, incident management, vendor coordination, and collaboration with internal departments.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Perform daily operations and preventive maintenance to ensure maximum service availability.
  • Scripting and automation skills to make needed SPML scripts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SDM core network incidents, including escalations from consumer and business teams.
  • Manage and maintain the SDM SW and HW, including upgrades, configuration implementation, and network element expansions.
  • Proactively monitor network and platform performance to ensure KPI stability.
  • Execute proactive measures to enhance customer experience and service reliability.
  • Investigate and resolve end-user complaints (consumer and enterprise).
  • Follow up on care tickets with external vendors to ensure timely resolution and service continuity.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support for network-related technical issues.
  • Develop in-house scripts and tools to fulfill business requirements.
  • Collaborate with the information security team to comply with auditor and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong communication and working relationships with vendors and internal departments.
  • Interface directly with quality assurance, sales, engineering, marketing, billing, and provisioning teams.
  • Apply and execute relevant work orders as per operational requirements.
  • Coordinate and communicate with vendors during planned and unplanned maintenance activities.

Job Specifications
Education
Bachelor degree in Communication Engineering
CCNA ,CCNP Route , and JNCIA certifications are required
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience
Very good knowledge/practical experience of Protocols such as OSPF,BGP, and MPLS
Practical experience in Cisco or Juniper routers and switches configuration
Good understanding of QOS best practices.
