Purpose of the job
Promote employee engagement and wellbeing throughout the employee lifecycle and reinforce employees connection to orange brand by building a culture they feel proud to belong to.
Plan and execute activities of Orange Egypts Internal Communication, Employer Brand, Culture, Employee Engagement and Employee Experience sub functions
Duties and responsibilities
- Lead culture programs guided by the companys purpose, values, and mission statement.
- Partner with leadership to address cultural focus areas and embed in daily practices.
- Activate culture communities to ensure a bottom-up approach to shaping culture and engagement.
- Design and implement innovative engagement initiatives that bring new experiences aligned with the company brand.
- Manage the annual engagement and wellbeing calendar of activities and oversee budget planning.
- Lead and support employee journey mapping across the life cycle to identify challenges, enhance engagement, and improve wellbeing.
- Drive initiatives and projects that enhance the end-to-end employee journey, from hire to retirement.
- Support business units with employee experience diagnostics (e.g., surveys, pulse checks, focus groups).
- Deploy innovative employee experience products, programs, and solutions that increase retention and foster advocacy.
- Build the case for employee experience with people managers, enabling them to understand and support key initiatives.
- Develop and implement creative communication strategies to promote culture, employee experience, and engagement initiatives.
- Promote the employer brand on social media channels and craft compelling narratives and share stories internally and externally.
- Lead and manage the annual survey and other feedback mechanisms to measure engagement, evaluate program impact, and recommend continuous improvement.
- Analyze data and provide actionable insights for business leaders and HR.
- Benchmark best practices in employee experience, culture, and wellbeing through external partnerships and research.
- Manage Employee Experience, Culture, and Engagement team members.
- Manage relationships with agencies and third-party partners to deliver impactful programs.
Job specification
Education
- Bachelors Degree in New Media, Journalism and Mass Communication, Business Administration, or related fields of study where the main language of tutoring was English
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar field.
Skills and abilities
- Solid writing skills (English & Arabic) & storytelling
- Articulate communicator with proven ability to turn complex concepts into simple language & ideas
- Sharp eye for detail, good knowledge of all MS Office applications & other tools (e.g., survey platforms, analytics tools, Designing tools, communication channels)
- Resourceful, self-motivated
- Very creative with out-of-the box thinking
- Dynamic and energetic personality, can work with different people comfortably
- Able to inspire others with innovative means
- Excellent planning skills and ability to manage cross-functional initiatives that require high coordination & project management skills.
- Awareness of the latest trends in the communications field and knowledge of the Egyptian culture/audience, with a strong ability to adapt global best practices to the Egyptian corporate culture.
- Design and photography skills are a plus.
