Purpose of the job
Manages and directs the work of project managers and provides managerial oversight for multiple projects. Monitors project scopes, costs, schedules, staffing, communications and deliverables
Duties and responsibilities
- Create and Lead the technical project managers team
- Monitor Project Progress and Set Deadlines
- Support to solve issues that arise
- Manage projects scope, plan & cost
- Ensure stakeholders satisfaction
- Evaluate Projects Performance
- Escalate to management when needed to secure projects delivery
- Coach and mentor the team members
- Ensure team members development & continuous improvement
- Develop effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the project
- Maturity in judgment to examine key indicators to know and proactively act to bring a challenged project back on track
- Leading IT project management for all business customers including B2C, B2B, CS, Sales, HR and Finance
- Reporting weekly/monthly for all projects in hand for different management level
Job specification
Education
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
Experience
- 15+ years experience in communication or computer engineering
- Broad understanding of telecom and IT applications as well as business areas Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Project management experience including reporting and process management is a must in similar field / industry
- Has strong experience handling multiple projects, multiple customers and multiple teams effectively
- PMP or Prince 2 certified
