Purpose of the job

Launching fully integrated advertising campaigns into the market by using the right communication mix and ensuring the consistency across all communication mediums to be able to meet the desired objectives and fulfilling the intended goals.

Playing the Maestro role across all functions to ensure the fastest & most efficient Go To Market

Duties and responsibilities

1. Work closely with the creative agencies to develop fully integrated corporate and commercial requested campaigns in TV, radio, print, online, BTL, activations and outdoor media, to all target markets and ensure that the campaign is meeting all desired objectives.

2. Manage the briefing & implementations for the new ideas among the brand agency, social media agency & the marketing team

3. Work closely with the media Team to adopt the best and most suitable communication mix, within the allocated budget, to maximize reach, frequency and ensure overall effectiveness of the campaign & act as the responsible person for continual campaign monitoring while on air to ensure its achieving the desired response and meeting/surpassing the set forecast.

4. Coordinate with other entities within the organization in order to achieve the Communication plan KPIs (Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Internal Communications, etc...)

5. Propose new innovative ideas to add to the image and value of the handled brands.

6. Coordinate with fellow department team members to make sure that every aspect related to the campaign is being developed with the same consistency among internal and external channels and within the requested timeframe (window banners are installed on time and in approved shape, activations were successful, posts on social networks are of the same language as that of the campaign, etc..)i.e ensure the best Go to Market approach.

7. Monitor the agencies to make sure that all material, artworks, etc... are delivered within the adequate lead time to ensure timely bookings and meeting deadlines.

8. Monitor all advertising material developed by competitors and being fully aware of their products, services, communication activities Vs. Orange`s.

9. Plan & execute Orange Money on ground activation plan

10. Lead the creative & activation agencies briefing & manage Orange Money campaigns executions.

11. Develop standalone communication materials for the non- orange point of sales such as governmental entities ( Bank Naser, wezerat el tadamon, etc---)

12. Work in harmony with Orange Money marketing & sales team to ensure the most efficient on ground plan execution to fulfill the targets

13. Lead the activation agencies & the internal activation teams to come up with the most new techniques to ensure reaching Orange Money target market customer with the most effective yet lowest spend.

14. Ensure executing having all year round activations to keep Orange money customers active all the time

15. Lead the whole TV production process of the handled Campaigns in terms of

16. Agency & production houses briefing

17. Selection of the  director , photographer , composer,DOP,Art Director & locations

18. Managing the cost negotiation with the suppliers & the procurement team

19. Managing the TV copy execution

20. Manage the Celebrities deal in terms of

21. Celebrity selection based on each campaign objective

22. Monitor the delivery of all the benefits that were listed in each celebrity deal.

23. Lead the communications negotiations & agreement taking place between Orange & the content providers & the artists

24. Lead & manage the VAS and the content events & brand & design team in the venue selection, production & event execution budget negotiations & agencies selection.

25. Manage the Communication campaign to advertise for the VAS / Content events to come up with the fastest & most effective campaign that will result on the highest revenue.

26. Manage Media Relations VAS and content briefing to ensure communicating to the customer the right message that will insure orange positioning as the. entertainment platform owner.

27. Manage The social Media team briefing & setting their VAS and content coverage plan.

28. Manage, monitor & evaluate of all advertising insertions, competitive activities as well as any clippings related to the brands to decide on counter attacks and align with the top management on the way forward.

29. Analyze competitors products and services with expenditure and the reason behind being high or low and compare to the projects being handled.

30. Work closely with the research team & manage all the Ad & brand exercises that take place in terms of materials selection, questionnaire, focus groups & analysis with recommendations

31. Drive media strategies and operational excellence and expertise to ensure these strategies are enforced.


Job specification

Education

  1. Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Experience

A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in media planning, operations, and buying with a strong connection within the industry

Skills and abilities

  • Excellent command of English both spoken and written.
  • Positive attitude and Self Motivated
  • Must be stress-tolerant; capable of handling countless projects, and flexible for shifting priorities.
  • Must have an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong typography skills required, the ability to scan, manipulate, & prepare artwork for pre-production.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced and agile environment.
  • High attention to details.
