Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

Ensure the highest level of Databases availability, Data integrity, Security, Best practice, and best performance.

Responsible for database Security, upgrades, patching and migrations.

Responsible for the database monitoring and maintenance.

Responsible for the data recovery in case of any failure.

Follow up with the vendor support to solve or improve any technical issue.

Experience in Oracle and SQL database administration, database maintenance and troubleshooting.

Experience in Oracle high availability solution - RAC, Grid and ASM administration.

Experience in Oracle and SQL Database Performance and tuning.

Experience in Oracle Data Guard.

Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager.

Experience in managing Oracle Backup and Recovery Administration.

Must have good experience in Oracle Exadata and ZDLRA.

Experience in managing Oracle Backup and Recovery using Exadata with all needed policies.

Must have good experience on Microsoft Failover clustering and SQL Server always on.

Manage DB permissions and troubleshoot backup issues.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Very Good knowledge in Linux/Windows OS.

Good Knowledge in MariaDB.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years experience in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Database administration with advanced setup, design, implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Bachelors degree in computer science / Engineer or a related field is required.
