About the job Merchant Onboarding Lead
Job purpose:
Responsible for supplier/partner onboarding and due diligence process. Providing support in different compliance functions in alignment with Orange Egypt standard Compliance procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle suppliers/partners due diligence requests, conduct in-depth reviews of partners/suppliers, identifying key risks and mitigants upon assessing risk
- Complete compliance checklist for all suppliers/partners as per OEG standard due diligence procedures
- Work with procurement and compliance teams to develop and optimize new and existing supplier/partner onboarding processes, focusing on partner risk assessment and verification.
- Work cross-functionally to develop and implement data-driven policies, procedures, and controls that aim to mitigate partner risks.
- Make decisions on partners/suppliers' requests based on analysis of their data, history and following risk and fraud mitigation and compliance policies of the company.
- Monitor and manage the onboarding pipeline to ensure timely processing of requests.
- Develop and maintain onboarding documentation and training materials for internal and external use.
- Offer feedback and suggestions for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the onboarding process.
Qualifications:
- PQE: 1-2 years of experience in a similar scope.
- Bachelors degree.
- Ability to make decisions independently based on research outcome and in the presence of unclear contexts
- Effective work time prioritization to ensure productivity and utilization.
- Attentive to detail, Self-motivated, results-driven and autonomous taking responsibility for achieving targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic
- Extensive experience with the Internet and search engines
