Purpose of the Job

  • Administer and management of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, CA, ADFS, WSUS, Exchange, Citrix environments across all Orange Egypt domains.
  • Maintain IT Infrastructure system availability by 99% including Active Directory domains, DNS, DHCP, CA, ADFS, Exchange, SCCM, SCOM, MIM, WSUS, SQL environments.
  • Make sure to apply all available security controls to secure Orange Egypt IT Infrastructure systems.
  • Managing servers/systems/applications installing including hardware or software.
  • Managing security patch management and system updates on all system aspects on regular basis.
  • Managing systems upgrade as needed.
  • Provide advanced level support for system hardware and software, technical issues and resolutions.
  • Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical resources and enterprise systems.
  • Provide off-hours on-call technical support as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Make sure to apply all available security controls to secure Orange Egypt IT Infrastructure systems.

Job Specifications

  • Standard system administration duties including server install, system/application install and patch management, Windows problems, logs analysis, etc.
  • Provides advanced level support for system hardware and software, technical issues and resolutions
  • Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical resources and enterprise systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration and management.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019, SCCM, SCOM, File Service, SQL, MIM, Citrix administration and management.
  • Manage and administrate internet service for Orange Egypt using Proxy technology by "Forcepoint Websense". generating web sites access reports.
  • Ensure secure browsing protecting the company from spam and hacker attacks.
  • Works effectively as part of a team atmosphere to perform duties and achieve daily operational goals.
  • Provide off-hours on-call technical support as needed.
  • Leads problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations.
  • Basic knowledge of Citrix XenApp administration and management.
  • Maintain an Active Directory and Messaging environment, with extensive knowledge of infrastructure services.
  • Create Server Clustering by Using Microsoft Windows 2016 & 2019.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation as it relates to server and network topology, equipment, and configuration(s).
  • Generate periodic systems performance and availability reports.
  • Ensure systems security, responding to security threats raised by information security or security audits.
  • Participate in new projects implementation.
