Job Summary:
The role is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-wide security architecture aligned with international standards, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity best practices. The Senior Supervisor will ensure consistent security control deployment across infrastructure, applications, and services to mitigate internal and external threats, while enabling secure digital transformation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Architecture & Engineering
- Design and maintain robust cybersecurity architectures across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Develop and deliver both short-term and long-term cybersecurity architecture roadmaps aligned with business goals and regulatory obligations.
- Develop and maintain security blueprints, technical standards, and design patterns for secure deployment of IT and telecom services.
- Provide technical leadership and security guidance across multiple technology domains (networks, apps, cloud, endpoints, etc.).
Security Program & Project Oversight
- Manage the end-to-end planning, design, and implementation of cybersecurity projects and services.
- Provide security design reviews and risk assessments for new technologies, infrastructure upgrades, and critical business projects.
- Collaborate with IT, business units, and external vendors to align on secure-by-design principles and ensure consistent implementation.
- Ensure adherence to security architecture governance and conduct security gate reviews for key initiatives.
️ Vulnerability and Threat Management
- Oversee the vulnerability and patch management process and coordinate with operations teams to remediate identified risks.
- Evaluate emerging threats and technology changes to continuously improve the security posture of the organization.
- Integrate threat intelligence and risk insights into architectural decisions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 4 - 6 years of hands-on technical experience in cybersecurity roles within the telecommunication or technology sectors.
- Strong knowledge of international security standards and frameworks, including:
- ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 27011, ISO 18028 (ITU-T X.805), PCI DSS, NIST SP 800 series, SANS
- Technical expertise in security technologies and platforms, including:
- WAF, Firewalls, NAC, DDoS protection, IDS/IPS, MFA, SSO, EDR/XDR, DLP, SIEMs, and Patch Management
- Familiarity with secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) and DevSecOps integration is a plus.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Preferred Certifications:
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
- Additional certifications like GCSA, CCSP, TOGAF, or vendor-specific cloud security certs are a plus.
