Position overview
Granville College is seeking experienced and industry-driven instructors to deliver courses in the Post Diploma in Global Supply Chain Management program in a fully online format.
This program focuses on advanced supply chain concepts including global logistics, procurement, operations, analytics, and international trade. Instruction is delivered live online, requiring strong virtual facilitation skills and the ability to engage students in a remote learning environment.
Courses may include (each approximately 80 instructional hours):
- Global Supply Chain and Operations Management Planning
- Purchasing and Supply Chain Management
- Global Logistics Management
- International Finance
- International Marketing
- International Business Law
- Risk Management in the Global Supply Chain
- Sustainability in the Global Supply Chain
- Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence for Supply Chain
- Organizational Behaviour
- Contemporary Issues in Global Supply Chain Management
Key responsibilities
- Deliver live, instructor-led online classes in a structured and engaging manner
- Facilitate discussions and apply real-world examples in global supply chain contexts
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, midterms, and final exams
- Provide timely feedback and maintain grading standards
- Track and submit attendance accurately in each session
- Maintain course organization within the learning management system (Canvas)
- Support student success through clear communication and academic guidance
Qualifications and requirements
- A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time industry experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations
or
10 years of directly related industry experience - Previous teaching or training experience in adult education or post-secondary settings is preferred
- Strong knowledge of global supply chain practices, including logistics, procurement, and international trade
- Experience with digital tools and learning platforms (e.g., Canvas, MS Teams)
- Strong communication and presentation skills in an online environment
Preferred qualifications
- Professional designations such as SCMP, PMP, or relevant certifications
- Experience with supply chain technologies, analytics, ERP systems, or AI tools
- Familiarity with Canadian and global supply chain regulations and practices
Compensation (industry benchmark – Canada)
- $31 to $35 per hour
