Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Presales Engineer to join our team in South Africa. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of Microsoft products, digital transformation initiatives, application and web development, and cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our sales and technical teams by creating compelling proposals, demonstrating our solutions' value, and effectively communicating with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise:

  • Provide deep technical knowledge and support for Microsoft suite of products, including Office 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, and more.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of digital transformation processes, including application and web development strategies.
  • Leverage your knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud to design and recommend cloud solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, digital transformation, and software development.

Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Design and architect solutions that meet client needs, aligning with their business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, product demos, and proof-of-concept (POC) sessions to clients, showcasing the value of our solutions.

Proposal Development:

  • Create detailed and customized proposals that effectively communicate the technical and business benefits of our solutions.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure proposals are aligned with customer requirements, timelines, and budget.
  • Provide technical content and input for RFP/RFI responses, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

Client Engagement:

  • Act as a technical advisor and trusted resource for clients, addressing their queries and concerns throughout the sales process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business challenges and objectives.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and discussions to provide technical expertise and support the sales process.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and support, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide feedback to product and engineering teams based on client interactions and market trends.

Key Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a presales, technical consulting, or related role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft suite of products (Office 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of digital transformation, application development, and web development processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, including AWS and Google Cloud.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in designing and architecting cloud-based solutions on Microsoft, AWS, and Google Cloud platforms.
  • Experience with creating and delivering technical proposals, presentations, and demonstrations.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, APIs, and integration strategies is a plus.
