Job Description
Lead the Bring-up process for electronic boards following development and initial production. Perform design revisions and performance upgrades for existing designs, including schematic and layout updates. Investigate and resolve hardware failures within complex multidisciplinary systems. Optimize production files and design boards for manufacturability according to IPC-600 and IPC-610 Class 3 standards. Collaborate with PCB manufacturers and assembly houses to ensure compliance with high-quality standards. Provide engineering solutions for production failures and update manufacturing documentation accordingly. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical, Software, Firmware, and System Engineers. Author technical documentation supporting product testing and validation.
Requirements
Education: B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with a GPA of 85 or above – Mandatory. Experience: Up to 5 years of experience in hardware development (excluding mandatory military service). Experience in the defense industry is a significant advantage. Technical Expertise: Proven experience in Bring-up for digital boards and high-power supply units – Mandatory. Design Skills: Proficiency in board design and layout oversight – Mandatory. Power & Analog: Knowledge in developing analog circuits and high-power supply units for military systems. Documentation: Experience preparing design reviews (PDR, CDR) and writing test documents (ATP, POD) – Mandatory. Standards: Deep understanding of development according to MIL-STD and DO-160 standards – Advantage. Quality: In-depth knowledge of PCB manufacturing and assembly quality requirements – Advantage. Tools: High proficiency in OrCAD and Allegro – Mandatory. Software: Strong command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and fluency in both Hebrew and English.
