Job Description
Quality NPI Leadership: Responsible for the transfer from development to production regarding all quality aspects. Quality Representative: Serving as the quality authority within product development teams. System Testing: Testing systems during development stages (Software) – product evaluation and writing SRS documents. Regulatory Expert: Serving as a knowledge center for regulations including CE, FCC, MIL-STD, radiation safety standards, laser safety standards, soldering (IPC), etc. Environmental Testing: Responsible for building and implementing environmental testing plans, including GANTT management and managing costs for external laboratory testing. Quality Planning: Preparing product quality plans and specifications through all stages – from product approval to engineering changes (ECOs). Process Reviews: Conducting internal audits of quality and manufacturing processes following the NPI phase. Methodology: Planning and implementing sampling methods and detailed testing procedures. Procedures and Documentation: Controlling and drafting work instructions and procedures; maintaining controlled documentation of development projects. Compliance: Monitoring product compliance with customer requirements and international standards. Data Analysis: Utilizing statistical methods and SPC for data analysis. Corrective Actions: Managing plant-wide failure investigations and performing effectiveness reviews for preventive actions.
Requirements
Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in the Electronics, Mechanics, or Optics industries. Standards Knowledge: Proven experience in writing procedures and work instructions according to military and international standards. Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand complex technical drawings. Multitasking: Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment under pressure. Languages: High-level English (reading and writing). Proficiency in an additional language is an advantage. Software: Proficiency in Office applications and ERP systems (Priority).
Education and Certification
Degree: B.Sc. or Practical Engineer in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering. Certification: Formal education in Quality and Reliability (Masters degree or CQE certification).
Position Details
Scope: Full-time. Hours: Global (Friday shifts as needed).
Reporting to: Quality Assurance Manager.
