Job Description

Technical Leadership: Lead all engineering aspects of the project, ensuring the technical solution meets all requirements and serving as the primary technical interface with the client. Requirement Management: Define and manage multi-disciplinary requirements across all engineering fields. Engineering Process Management: Lead the entire engineering lifecycle, including development processes, engineering tests, and the planning and execution of experimental trials. Integration: Plan and execute the initial system integration phases. Task Mentorship: Lead, guide, and monitor engineering tasks and milestones. Project Support: Provide high-level engineering support to the Project Manager and project administration. Standards Compliance: Ensure implementation of development procedures within the Optronics Engineering Division and IAI standards. Transition to Production: Support the transfer-to-production process, including initial training of production line staff and troubleshooting engineering failures. Configuration Management: Manage system versions and configuration control. Risk Management: Analyze, identify, and manage engineering risks throughout the project lifecycle. Change Management: Initiate and approve Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and lead formal development reviews.

Requirements

Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Optics Engineering, or Physics (with a specialization in Electro-Optics) – Mandatory. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Electrical or Electro-Optical Engineering – Mandatory. Systems Engineering: Proven experience in systems engineering processes or technical management of development projects – Mandatory. Soft Skills: Strong leadership abilities, team-oriented mindset, and a broad systemic perspective – Mandatory.
