Performance Marketing Executive
We are looking for a Media Buyer to oversee the negotiation and purchasing of advertising supplies for clients. Your role will ensure that ads reach target audiences through first-rate channels at the lowest possible prices.
Duties & Responsibilities
A competent negotiator and critical thinker who can develop trust and build relationships with clients and media professionals. The main objective will be to optimize ad exposure and outperform competitors within a budget using current media channels and advertising options.
- Assist in identifying target audiences and organizing media campaigns.
- Conduct research, compare and negotiate rates, ad space, and airtime.
- Optimize plans and budgets with regard to the best media mix.
- Sample various new platforms and channels to determine the best.
- Ensure ads are creative and displayed appropriately.
- Monitor costs and return on investment (ROI).
- Report to clients and build long-term relationships.
- Researching and evaluating the segment audiences' character, purchasing, and media habits.
- Liaising with media owners, ensuring specific statistics, circulation, and viewing total are current.
- Providing media recommendations, such as timings and cost breakdowns, to assist clients in making an informed decisions about future advertising strategies.
- Modifying media schedules in response to the latest audience figures.
The ideal candidate should have
- Prior working experience as a Media Buyer or similar role.
- Experience in digital media is preferred.
- Conversant with media-buying, planning, and research.
- Unmatched interest in advertising and media trends.
- Solid knowledge of media analytics software (e.g., comScore).
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Strong presentation skills.
- BSc/BA in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
- Strong spoken and written Language skills in both Arabic and English.
