Investment Director

Position: Investment Director

Opentap Talent is working with an investment management firm which is looking for an Investment Director to join the team. 

As an Investment Director, you will be responsible for managing the company's investment portfolio and developing strategies to drive growth and maximize returns for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned investment professional to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement investment strategies to meet the company's objectives and drive growth

- Manage the company's investment portfolio, including analyzing and evaluating potential investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and making investment decisions

- Monitor and assess the performance of existing investments and make recommendations for adjustments as needed

- Build and maintain relationships with external investment partners and stakeholders

- Stay up-to-date on market trends and industry developments to identify potential investment opportunities

- Conduct thorough research and analysis to support investment decisions and mitigate risks

- Present investment proposals and reports to senior management and clients

- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and legal, to ensure compliance and alignment with company goals and policies

- Lead and mentor a team of investment professionals, providing guidance and support to drive their professional development

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred

- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in investment management, with a track record of successful investments and portfolio management

- Strong understanding of financial markets and investment strategies

- Proven ability to develop and execute investment strategies that drive growth and maximize returns

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on data and market trends

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences

- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high level of adaptability and resilience
