Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven B2B Sales Manager to lead and expand our commercial sales operations across Angola. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth in the professional and industrial segments.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Business Growth:
- We are seeking an experienced and results-driven B2B Sales Manager to lead and expand our commercial sales operations across Angola. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth in the professional and industrial segments.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as contractors, architects, project managers, wholesalers, real estate developers, and construction firms;
- Conduct regular visits to clients, project sites, and distributors to ensure satisfaction and identify up-selling opportunities;
- Provide technical guidance on paint products and application systems as needed.
Sales Operations & Negotiation
- Lead commercial negotiations, prepare proposals, and close B2B deals.
Ensure all contracts, pricing conditions, and agreements align with company policies; - Coordinate with logistics and production teams to guarantee product availability and timely deliveries.
Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities;
- Provide management with actionable insights to refine product offerings, pricing, and sales tactics;
- Participate in trade shows, professional events, and industry meetings to represent the company.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports;
- Monitor KPIs, sales forecasts, pipeline progress, and budget performance;
- Recommend corrective actions where needed to achieve sales objectives.
Team Leadership (if applicable)
- Manage and mentor a team of B2B sales representatives. Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations.;
- Encourage a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering or related field.
- Additional training in sales or coatings technology is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in paints, coatings, construction materials, or building products;
- Proven record of achieving sales targets and developing profitable B2B partnerships;
- Experience working with construction companies, wholesalers, or industrial clients is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills;
- Deep knowledge of B2B sales cycles, pricing strategies, and project-based selling;
- Ability to read project specifications and understand technical paint requirements (advantage);
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems;
- Fluency in Portuguese; English is a plus.
